    This is dx9 only as someone made it for EQ2. I have read in many places that it is better with no additional overhead. I tried it in SKyrim and thought that maybe it does look more solid overall. I think this modded version has better edge detection.. Try for yourself..

    the DLL is from injectSMAA 1.1 and how does it compare with SMAA_PRESET_ULTRA that can be used in injectSMAA 1.2?

    /**
    * SMAA_THRESHOLD specifies the threshold or sensitivity to edges.
    * Lowering this value you will be able to detect more edges at the expense of
    * performance.
    *
    * Range: [0, 0.5]
    * 0.1 is a reasonable value, and allows to catch most visible edges.
    * 0.05 is a rather overkill value, that allows to catch 'em all.

    Just compared the original smaa.h and the modded smaa.h
    seems like the modded one has set the values for SMAA_PRESET_ULTRA as default. so its the same as using 1.2

    Just tried it and took some comparison shots with SMAA 1.2. Not worth uploading however, as they both gave almost the exact same results. I was flipping the screens back and forth in gimp for over a minute before I spotted a couple differences, and the differences were arbitrary to say the least.

    Who knows though, maybe under certain circumstances it makes a difference, but I'll stick with 1.2 for now.

    I like this, but it's a shame Text is also affected. Which makes it rather annoying to use in games like WoW.
