    Hi there guys,

I'm having some problems with video playback on my pc since I've build it. It plays videos (stream and local) with some stuttering at random parts of the video. You can see my specs bellow:

    i7 2600k @ Stock Clocks
    EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX
    16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1600MHZ
Primary HDD: SSD OCZ Vector 256GB
Secundary HDD: Seagate 2TB Sata III (it shows some yellow sectors on the "health" section of HD Tune, but even when I copy videos to my SSD and try to play it, the video tends to have some slow down/stuttering)
    Windos 7 Ultimate 64bit

I use WMP and 32bit MPC HC (latest version) to play videos.

Someone have an idea about what can be causing this problem? Thanks Everyone!!!!

Did you install something like Intel RST (Rapid Storage Technology)?
On some systems, that actually degrades storage performance for some reason.

    No, I didn't.

Maybe a firmware update followed by a secure erase of the SSD can solve this problem?

    Thanks for the help!

Dammit I forgot to reply back. =/
    Anyway...

Might be, but if that fixes it please write a follow-up so others who might have the same problem can fix theirs as well.

In any case, stuttery video playback on a relatively high-end system is usually related to IO problems, so make sure everything checks out OK first like AHCI drivers and/or updating the chipset drivers.
