Is it just me or does the AA in this game really kill performance? I have everything set to max except for AA. Setting AA above anything normal cuts the framerate in half for me.

Yup, going from High AA to Extreme AA cuts FPS by almost exactly half.

I'm running High AA(4xFXAA+2XSSAA) Runs great like that for me. Extreme on the other hand is 4xFXAA+4xSSAA That is just brutal.Your running the new NV Drivers? They apparently have an SLI Profile

Darren Hodgson would be the expert on the SLI.

I've noticted a lot of pop up textures on buildings, I wonder if my game files are fragmented and it's causing stuttering. Some gamers are claiming SSD's eliminated stuttering for them.

Well of course you could try the "old standard" Verify your cache files and then try the Defrag(Tho the Steam Defrag never really does much)

The default NVIDIA SLI profile for this game does not scale well with the 0x004010F5 flag. If you're not bothered about taking screenshots then use either 0x084010F5 or 0x0C4010F5 (NVIDIA are currently testing the latter) or use the Battlefield 3 one, 0x080116F5, if you want good performance AND the ability to take screenshots. If you use any of the 0x0_4010F5 flags then the screenshots will come out blank/black with Afterburner, Steam or FRAPS (they sometimes work with FRAPS but 9 out of 10 will be blank).

Darren I was reading on the Official Forums the newest drivers 306.02 had a Sleeping Dogs SLI Profile? Or is that the default one your talking about?

I'm "Red Team" so it's nothing for me but hey like I said before the game just amazing for me, just want everyone else to have the same great experience :)

I flashed the new beta driver to get SLI working and I changed the profile flag to the one Andy from NV suggested but my first card is only running at 900Mhz instead of the 1320Mhz it normally runs at. Its also max at 100% usage. The second card is running at full speed. I have tried setting power management mode to max but I still downclocks the card. temps wise it peaks at 75c but it shouldn't take the card down by 400Mhz!.. (second card @ 60c) Max settings AA on high. Any suggestions people?

Run it at stock profile flag,if that fails then change your driver.

Solved my problem, installing 306.02 reset my overclock. restoring it returned both cards to full speed. 60fps constant using the new SLI flag suggested by Andy. Really enjoying the game now.

Game is great fun to play when it`s night time or raining in the game, when it`s sunny the game is a horrible stutterfest. Shadows are horribly optimized, IMO!

Wow! I never expected that response.
Look around, their are plenty of gamers with much better systems than me having the same, of not worse problems. This doesn't automatically mean that thier setup at fault.
