Ooooh. They finally were able to create PCIe 4 risers! A good achievement! Bring that to Gamer's Nexus for testing! :p

Yet, necessary in small form factor builds. Maybe not you, some people are into that, y'know. (/captain-obvious)

Been using a LinkUp PCIe 4.0 riser since Zen2, was quite expensive but better quality than some others I tried around the same time (trashed some of them since that is how bad they where), never ran into any issues caused by that cable.

Luckily I didn't opt in to try one from NZXT, lol.

Are these pcie 4 riser cables any good ?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that true pcie 4 riser cables didn't actually exist.

Maybe they just were created! i think it is an achievement, if pcie 4 have been giving headaches even on motherboards it is incredible that someone was able to make a cable that meet the standard.

main reason why I didn't go vertical mounting, didn't want to add a new problem, good to hear if they work
thanks to amd I have enough lanes to actually populate my other pcie slots so no longer an option for my tower
