What is the fastest driver for legacy cards? I use Win 8.

    Until now:

I use CS:GO to test (max settings, 1920*1080p, low end HD 4670)

Dellon's 12.11 beta 11> AMD's 13.1 (up to 10 more fps. 56 avg fps in "furry cube" from gpu caps viewer. I'm not installing 13.1 again just to test opengl again lol. Youtube videos say rendering is accelerated).

    Next: Kevs's 12.6

    Try Kevs's 11.12v6 final, best one :]

The performance has not changed for the spinning cube with the 6.14.10.11774 driver, however, it does seem to have higher frames in vertex displacement mapping
    Link to OpenGL 6.14.10.11774

just start putting different dlls in your game folders, no need to 'install 13.1 again'

There exists multiple different versions of the .11774 OpenGL driver working on legacy cards. Working is one thing, correctly working is another however.

The one you posted for download, although looks like it works in principle at first look will crash and bomb in certain games the correct .11774 or .11653 etc doesn't....

Like cities in motion for example...try the .dll injection trick in that game with this 11774 version posted compared to 11653 and see what happens...:bonk:

And kn00tcn knows all about that "broke for a long time" game, dont'cha boy. :)
