I was looking for drivers on the ASUS support website and noticed the following sockets that I'd never seen before:

    SI-Socket775
    SI-LGA1156
    SI-SocketAM2/AM2+/AM3

I know of the traditional nomenclature for the sockets, as in Socket 775, Socket 1156, and AM3, etc., but I could not find any answers on the web of what the "SI" stands for.

If anyone has any insight, I'd like to know, as a matter of curiosity, what "SI" means.

    Thanks.
