I have the motherboard that you posted the modded bios for but when i try to flash it says "Onboard Bios Not Award Bios!"
My computers model number is a6242n. Any ideas on a solution? The main reason i wanted to flash it was because 64bit windows vista is only recognizes 3.86gb of my ram and not all 4gb.
    Thank in advance,
    joel

Hey Guys, I have this mobo in my HP, a A6223W with a AMD 64 X2 5200+ @ 2.6GHZ. I've been thinking about downloading the unlocked bios for my rig because if I can I would like to OC the 5200+ and my ATI Radeon HD2400Pro. The gpu is from VisionTek. Before I attempt this though, what kind of OC's are predicted for this CPU/GPU setup? Is it worth the hassle to OC my rig?

Run as Administrator. Make sure your not sharing memory with your video card also. If you are it will list less for your full memory.

I advised against running an unofficial BIOS as if there's any issues, you'd might be left with buying a new board.
