Salut Matt, again thank you so much for your support. A simple question... any possibility for implement officially downsampling like nvidia? Thanks mate

    Hi All,

I've been actively following this thread since it began, and just joined the forum in order to take part.
The latest beta drivers (14.9.2) solved pretty much everything for me (flickering, slowdown when fighting orcs. bees missing, etc.)

However when it's raining (and ONLY when it's raining) both gpus top out at 65%. With any other weather they'll run straight up to 99/100%, but when it's raining everything slows down. I've experimented with a variety of settings and short of making sure settings are reduced to use less than 65%, I'm getting noticeable frame rate drops.
Based on your collective experiences, is this an across the board problem that needs an update from AMD and/or Warner Bros., or is it specific to my cards/certain AMD cards?

    Thanks very much

Rain with Watch Dogs doesn't go well together either. Maybe it's just AMD...

I've seen the same thing. The weird thing is that using another profile (e.g. the tombraider*.exe profile) gives you ~95% scaling, even when it's raining. There are still a few in-game flickering issues with that profile though, and the menu flickers like crazy.

Thanks for the feedback about the Mordor profile, i will pass it on and see if we can improve on it in future driver releases.

If the menu flickers like crazy then you haven't properly installed the new beta drivers.

    Please read my post again.

edit: wasn't trying to be a d*ck :) I re-read my post as well and I can see where the ambiguity cropped up...

We're investigating the gpu usage droping when it rains. Was this monitored using MSI Afterburner?

    AMDMatt,

I was just wondering, is there planning in the works to add a crossfire profile to Lords of the Fallen? It scales somewhat badly with AFR consisting of frequent fluctuations down to 0% on both GPUs resulting in frame drop stuttering and a really bad flickering issue (almost the entire scene except for character models), UNTIL, oddly enough, you die. When the game reloads, everything is fine. However, once you enter a new area/level map the problem repeats itself and I have to kill myself again to fix the issue. There's also a weird 'ghosting' image on the main character (I think that may be an issue with Chromatic Aberration).

I sent in a driver bug report via AMD's website, but I thought I'd pass it on here as well in hopes that you could communicate this to them.

Thanks for your time, as always.

And sorry if this is derailing the thread, if I should make a new thread, just let me know.

Yes, I use MSI Afterburner and notice the drop.

I've measured the drop using gpu-z as well

Hey Phoenix I'm getting these crashes more frequently too with 14.9.2. Most of the time the game freezes, then screen goes black but the sound keeps playing lol.

Also I'm noticing strange FPS drops as well in the rain, will check gpu utilization next time in afterburner to confirm.

Ahh I'm so glad its not just me I thought I had hardware issues, I have to admit something really isn't right with this driver.

No crashes here, fps drops a bit when rain is on.
