My shadowplay recordings were working fine until yesterday when my latest mp4 recordings started playing back at double speed in Windows media player. To be specific, the duration (minutes and seconds) are going at what looks like double speed. I tested playing back the mp4 on multiple machines and get the same problem, so I presume the mp4 itself is corrupted.

    What causes this?

Today, it's working fine again. Maybe just a random glitch?

Only thing I can think of is that 60fps is causing some sort of timing error. Try Potplayer.

Thanks, maybe I'll try potplayer. I could do with something more functional than windows media player and Potplayer seems to get good ratings.

I"m not sure whether it'll help with my file playing too fast but you never know. If my video editing software (Sony Movie Studio Platinum (Vegas' little brother) still plays it too fast when I import it, then I think it unlikely another player will correct it. Thanks for the recommendation though.
