I agree^ what you guys think it would be a good game to put in hilberts reviews? He did use ss games before in his testing befor ethey got a bit dated a no dx11 game would be no good or what? he he imagine if he just put down for all cards that your rig aint man enough for this game can someone please tell me how to change my online mp name for this game in steam? *Anyone want to make a ss settings/inf mod guide...would be a real hit with alot of people.
cowie did you get lagg playing online ? i was host for like 4 people and got freezes every few seconds. R-R-Raaage
i think i found a bug: if i change anything in the GPU "custom" settings, upon leaving and returning to the game i have to run auto detect or my frame rates go wayyy down. once i use auto detect, and change the settings back to what i want it runs great again untill i leave the game. strange ....
no i had 20 ping i even rubbed it in to some other players the admin kicked a few gayporn downloaders with 400 ping plus lol i noticed that if someone gets stuck loading between maps everyone just said to vote kick them because we would still be there waiting. the dev playing told us a few tricks on how to beat boss's too and we found a bug or two along the way he said that they would work on. good info i'll try that today plus you can go to the ss forums and tell them that too maybe faster fix or more info will come from it.
can we use a proper third person view pls? do u recommend this to me white? its too expensive man..anyway. let me finish SKYRIM in weeks and maybe later game prices may be get lower in xmaxx
There's a "prefer third person view" option that alters the camera so you can play it that way. Some screens from various parts of the game / UI, mostly the last level I just completed, was quite crazy.
hmm thanx Jonas. so u advice this game? i need a game that will entertain me in short runs pls..to blow things up etc..is there a place to buy this cheaper? damn..
It's a digital release via Steam at the moment but might see a retail release later on, plans also expand to updating Serious Sam 2 eventually which I think was posted before. Unfortunately that means Steam's regional pricing will be in effect so in certain areas it'll cost a bit extra. (Still the game doesn't sell as a full $60 title either fortunately.)
ahh yes true..39 usd on me..not bad at all...and i see gamepad support great...but i dont have u on my steam friedns list and that gives me -65 intelligence
warboy right?give them a minute or two some will respond. i am slapmehard there...i got sexy porn star avatars i cycle every week or so lol.
Pretty impressive game. Funny how a semi-independent studio pushes the technical aspect in PC games further then any major editor.
sry burnt i have the flu and read it too fast @predro Thats why you should buy the game if you like this type of thing or not just to support them. come on they delayed the game to fix it more!!!!not on thier knees to ea like what happened to other game makers they made us fans a game no bs'in the whole way either.
I absolutely love this game. It's everything that makes Serious Sam awesome, amped up to the nth degree. I just finished a level that had 1139 enemies... on the normal skill level. So awesome. Seems Croteam really listened to the complaints people had with Sam 2 and took them to heart. I remember the main complaints against Sam 2 were small levels, small battles, not enough beheaded kamikazes or kleers. All of those issues have been addressed here. And after playing this, I really, REALLY hope Croteam do actually remake Sam 2. While I'd love a port of the regular game to STEAM as well, I'd love a remake of Sam 2 in the new engine.
I actually liked SS2 the way it was. If they made that available on Steam I would gladly buy it again. But if they did remake it with the new engine I think that game would be amazing. SS3 is fantastic. I only played through 4 levels last night but even on the normal difficulty it's a challenge. I have to get used to the no regenerating health all over again.
Yeah, I also love Serious Sam 2. I actually started replaying it before Sam 3 was released. And I'd definitely buy it on STEAM (just so I wouldn't have to go through reinstalling from 4 cds... then patching... ). But, I'd love to see the game as Croteam originally intended. With faster gameplay, larger levels, larger battles... more enemies on the screen.
