As the title says, is that worth the price? I know it's not a premier brand but for that price it seems too good to pass up. Thoughts from anyone with a 4k TV? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...dsPerPage=5&body=REVIEWS#CustomerReviewsBlock
Isn't this TV/Monitor 30Hz@2160p and 120Hz@1080p. And since all inputs are the older HDMI it can only except 60Hz max input. I thought of getting one of these months back but those two things made me change my mind.
Newegg's front page has also shown some pretty large 4K sets at prices lower than I'd pay for a decent 1080p set of similar size. That alone makes me leary. It doesn't seem like we really have a lot of 4K content available to consume as it is yet. I'm only interested in gaming at 4K but these cheapie sets are supposed to be bad for gaming.
Hmmm... well 60 HZ/FPS max input isn't a problem for me, but if it's limited to 30 hz/fps at "4k" then that's a deal breaker. I wouldn't have any near term plans to game on it, but I like to keep my options open for the future in that regard.
well if you are using it for movie viewing and not gaming at 4k it would be a great purchase but anything gaming related if you are looking to play above 1080p look elsewhere.
