I've just installed win XP and everything really well except for one thing. In device manager I've got and exclamation mark next to the following: "Via bus master IDE driver", which is showing beneath "SCSI and raid controllers".
Now to my knowledge under win98se scsi and raid controllers does not appear in device manager at all, please correct me if I'm wrong. Secondly, I dont have a raid board and certainly no scsi devices. I've tried installing drivers for it but windows can't find any. Can someone tell me what to do with them, ignore, remove, delete or what.
Delete the "Via bus" from the device manager, and install the 4.33 4in1's from via. That'll reinstall the IDE driver.
