HI all l have a problem with one of my computers,

it is running the following specs:
    Intel E4600 @ 2.4GHz
    2GB RAM
    intel motherboard
    windows xp sp3

the problem is when ever l go back to it and the screensaver has come on, l go to move the mouse and the screensaver stays on and little bits of the desktop will show up randamly, like a icon in the taskbar, the only way to stop it is to ctrl+alt+del,

does anyone know of a way to fix this.

Are you using a prehistoric CRT monitor on that PC? Otherwise there's no point in having a screensaver turned on.
Better turn on monitor power saving so that monitor turns off after some idle time.

    Also, try F5.

    ^^^this

...and is it doing it for different screensavers, or just a certain one???

and are there anything set for the computer to do once its idle, or once the screensaver kicks in?? Because it could be another process thats the problem

check all your drivers, video, motherboard, etc.

Might be a driver issue causing the problem.

Also instead of having a screen saver you can just have the monitor turn off, that's what I do. Saves more power that way.

i also have a screensaver problem..i use my personal pics. i just added some more to my screensaver. now the pics dont fill up the entire screen. before they did.there is about an inch of dead space on top or bottom or both. each pic varies.. also how do i get a pic to show up in the right direction.i took a pic longways, now it shows up sideways on the screen!! i checked the settings and everything is up to snuff the way it was before.
