    New to 3dMark06

I have been testing out various games and I had decided to try out the 3dMark tests on XP. I recently had a bad experience using Vista, so I really have to stick with XP for now. I am familiar with 3dmark05, but not so much with 06 and I have no idea whats considered a good score for my rig in that regard.

In three different tests of 3dMark05 I got:
    21417. 21412 and 21475

With the last one having cpu results of: 9832

    GT1 - Return To Proxycon 69.3 fps
    GT2 - Firefly Forest 57.6 fps
    GT3 - Canyon Flight 158.9 fps
    CPU Tests
    CPU Test 1 5.5 fps
    CPU Test 2 7.8 fps

    NOW IN 3DMARK06:

    3DMark Score 15465 3DMarks
    SM 2.0 Score 6906 Marks
    SM 3.0 Score 8202 Marks
    CPU Score 3053 Marks

    1 - Return to Proxycon 55.188 FPS
    2 - Firefly Forest 59.91 FPS
    CPU Tests
    CPU1 - Red Valley 0.966 FPS
    CPU2 - Red Valley 1.545 FPS
    HDR Tests
    1 - Canyon Flight (SM 3.0) 92.549 FPS
    2 - Deep Freeze (SM 3.0) 71.482 FPS

With SLI DISABLED I get 13040 in 06. But I also noticed that in 3dMark05 I only got any real gains in SLI with the third test, but in 06, I got them across the board. Any reasoning for that? And on a side note, I noticed in my 3dmark 05 test in non-sli I got a slightly higher reading for the Proxycon test than I did in sli. Problem?

I am curious about the performance of my PC because some games do not run as I "think" they should on a system with two ultras in it. My CPU is also overclocked by dell to 3.46ghz up from I think 2.98. I really don't know what to be expecting for my rig. The video cards are stock, but of course its two in sli.

    hey L.F
first let me say nice rig!
    good scores so far.
ok now i'll start with 05,first two tests will see higher gains with more cpu clock, and as you know you see a big gain in gt3 with sli because its more from the vga's not cpu.in 05 the faster cpu will help lots in gt1 and gt2.
now your 06 looks good too for dc cpu.
and right where you should be.
in games just turn up your in game settings to max out fx' and run the highest res you can with your monitor
your good to go man,not much can touch those cards bro.

    Alright well thanks.

I have been wary because of late some games like COD4 and WoW aren't running the way I might expect them to on hardware like this, I have been trying to find out what are good/decent scores for my setup.
