Score too low

    Hi,

    Here is my rig :

    XP 1800
    ECS K7S5A Mobo
    512 DDR PC 266
    Geforce 3

    score : 6200

    Any idea what is wrong, and what can I do to increase it..?

    that sousdn about right.. u can turn off v-sync in ur vfideo card settings and maybe try new drivers... but 6000 is around what u should be getting with a gf3

    Have you installed the latest Via 4 in 1 Hyperon drivers?

    I dont have a VIA chipset, at least I don't think I do... in the device manager, it says its a SiS

    Sis, mmm, I don't have ny experience with those chip sets. Maybe if you installed their drivers. Its a common problem, the preformance of a PC is low because chipset drivers aren't installed.

    download the latest (v1.15) agp and chipset drivers from here..

    What video card drivers do you have installed?

    I have the latest nvidia drivers that were released a few days ago (Detonator 43.45 Windows 2000/XP Official , released 3/27/03 )

    how about a compare link so we can see some more specs?

    i'm guessing that you're running at a fsb of 100, whereas he's running at 133 on an nforce2 board, which will increase his score a bunch.

    plus, he's overclocked the snot out of his videocard to where it outperforms my ti4200..

    Also, my fsb for my CPU is set to 133, unless u were refering to another fsb..??

    nope..that's the one. just taking a stab at your fsb..

    have you overclocked the card at all?

    edit - looks like you're in luck. i just found this page that has a ton of info on your board and it's voltages.
