    Hi

First, I must apologize for my bad English. Secondly I wasn't sure if this is the right place to post regarding my problems.

Okay, so I was having some random freezes while playing Valorant and decided to do a fresh GPU driver installation, thinking that would probably solve the problem. But after booting into Windows Safe Mode and running DDU, it gave me an error. I have a screenshot that I'll upload with this post.

I can still uninstall the drivers using AMD Cleanup Utility. However the problems are still there. My PC runs slow during startup and AMD software won't even launch (minimized in system tray) even after a fresh driver/software installation. I've tried installing 'WHQL amd software adrenalin edition 22.3.1' and 'WHQL amd software adrenalin edition 22.5.1' and even older 2018 drivers/software, but all of which seem to suffer the same symptoms (random freezes, GPU software not running at windows startup (minimized in system tray), crashing while playing some games and a tiny bit of stuttering while running some games.

I've put this GPU in another PC and everything was working normally. No problems whatsoever. But when I stick the card back into my main PC, the problems keep coming back. What I'm trying to do here is getting DDU working again. It was working fine maybe 6-7 months ago.

    I have a Sapphire RX 570 8 GB card.

I have DDU log file but I can't seem to upload it here. Perhaps I should copy contents of the file and paste it here?

Any help toward the right direction is appreciated. I'm desperate on this. Please help me.

Long at the error, it's saying it's trying to access files in OneDrive so the files are in the cloud and not on your PC?

Try downloading DDU again but save it somewhere locally instead of in one drive

Truder, thank you for replying. DDU is indeed running locally, extracted to my desktop folder. I've already tried a few recent and older versions of DDU but all of them return the same error. Also I don't have OneDrive installed on my PC and no user is called 'ghisl' on my Windows 10 machine. I'm very confused. Windows is updated, defender is running, and I've done DISM/sfc scans and repairs. And everything seem to work normally.

Okay so it's been a few hours and no one else other than Truder has replied to my thread.

Meanwhile I've opened DDU log file and tried making sense of what might be causing the problem. Since the logs are too long, I'll just paste the part where the error starts happening. I'm certain it's just after it starts cleaning the registry keys. Here:

It's too early to lose hope. Posted a thread to wagnardsoft, and it's awaiting approval by a mod. Besides, everything works fine, it's just the random freezes I get while playing Valorant that's a bit annoying. Reinstalling Windows is the final resort, of course. Thank you for replying Astyanax

    Update:

I was thinking about what Astyanax suggested. Since I have so many custom settings on my PC (mostly audio related stuff) and I didn't want to deal with them again after reinstalling Windows, I thought maybe if I could reinstall Windows over the Windows already installed on my PC and keep all my files and settings, that should maybe fix the problems.
So I inserted a USB drive into my PC, downloaded a fresh copy of Windows from Microsoft using their media creation tool, re-installed Windows but kept all my personal files and settings which took maybe a little over an hour, and behold! Everything's smooth again, DDU works and I can finally play Valorant in peace.
Astyanax, kudos to you sir! Thank you.
