I would recommend an 850 as a minimum for Crossfire 290's, and even then I'd aim for a little higher. You might just about get away with it depending on the exact model of the PSU, but I wouldn't cut it so close.

Might be fine if you don't overclock but you might be pushing it.

Why in the world would you go for 290 CF for 1920x1200 60Hz? Crazy AA?

I doubt your PSU is enough, 2 r9 290x reference cards eats more than 500w alone!

Adding your overclocked CPU and rest of peripherals will cause you issues with your current 750w PSU, I suggest at least 900w!

To be honest with you, I do not know why people usually end up with a small PSU then are forced to replace it when ever they upgrade, just save your money and buy a fat ass PSU, I have been using my silverstone 1500w since 2009.

    *edit*

My bad I just realized you are asking about r9 290 and not r9 290x, any way I stand with what I had said, get a fat ass PSU!

You'll be close to the wire, luckily you don't have 290X's, they would go over for sure. 850 would be the safe bet, but wait and see what happens with that 750. I'm pretty sure each 290 uses something like 256Watts, so 512Watts would need to be reserved for the two 290's under load; leaving you 238Watts for the rest of the PC.

Corsair's a good brand, you should be good to go with that power supply.

That PSU looks like a winner, I've been using the same 850W Corsair since 2008. ...But before you consider getting 4K, you should seriously check out this 34" LG 21:9 3440*1440 ISP monitor for £745. Be sure to take a look at that YouTube review link!

    What model is that PSU?
The ones with a single 12V rail and DC to DC conversion on the 3.3V and 5V rails like my TX750v2 should be enough but close to the limit.

I have heard mixed feelings about the rm series. And I think there is a sticky thread in overclock about why you should not buy a corsair rm series psu. Again, I never have any experience with the rm series. Try the TX series. They are solid.

If you hang on till the 28th, and can get over to the Overclockers UK shop, then you'll be able to pick up a 290 Tri-X for only £199, or if you fancy a bit more power, a 295 x2 for only £760

The AX 860w which ive got is a cracking PSU.
