What exactly separates these from OLEDs? Seems like it could be a nice alternative if it doesn't have the same "burn" issue.

What is the respons time in these new TV's? OLED TV's are having trouble with lagging because of the bad respons time, so it would be nice to see the correcting this problem :)

Huh? OLEDs have fantastic response times, usually around 10 microseconds. That's a major improvement over LCDs, which tend to be more like 8 milliseconds.
If there's any additional delays in response time, that's because the display controller is adding latency. So, for example, a lot of smart TVs add a pretty significant delay.

The downside of this tech, it looks like they are using a single size of LED.
If you want a larger screen it will increase the resolution, you can't choose a larger size LED to keep the same res.
This might upset AVRs and Blu ray players unless using integer scaling. ie double the size on both axis.

I heard the scaling tech to go with these new screens is simply awesome.
If they provide a way to fool your AV system it is using a standard res (ie it lets you change/specify the EDIDs default res) and it upscales without the AV system knowing, that could work well.
    Fingers crossed.

inorganic self illuminating diodes instead of organic oled supposedly less disposed to burn-in.
