Quantum Dots on a TN panel. Kill it before it lays eggs.

Samsungs TN panels are comparable with Asus ips screens.

I was like that's a great price, I missed that it uses a TN panel. No no no no :puke2:

Quantum Dot is just a ridiculously fancy name for yet another black screen filter in front of overbright LED backlighting. Pass.

The next big thing is gonna be Quantum Dot on a CRT monitor.

This. Comparable and even better. I used to own a Samsung 120hz TN monitor and the color is amazing. No IPS in the range of $800 could hold a candle to it. Blacks are deepest with no bleeding or glowing. Blacks on IPS, on the other hand, sucks big time not to mention the horrid 'IPS glow' that plagues almost every single IPS monitor I come across.

Samsung proves to me that the statement 'IPS has better color than TN' is absolutely bullsh*t.

Can't believe there are a few here saying Samsung TN panels are comparable to IPS, seriously that's hilarious. Obviously never owned a IPS monitor. My last monitor was a Samsung with a TN panel, and in no way was it comparable to a IPS screen...

Believe it. There are people that still claim eye can't see more than 24fps...
