What annoys me about this software is it must be allowed online access to validate the drives in your system or you cant make use of the features. I dont mind this program needing low level access to my hardware but I do not want it going online while doing so, especially without asking. A program that is regularly updated has no need to be online to verify a drives compatibility, especially when the update is needed to support new drives anyway! I am not happy, its an unnecessary information grab and uncontrolled network access from a computer owners perspective. Compatibility can easily be checked locally. There needs, at minimum, to be control over online activity (at least an option to dis/en-able the feature) so it will only happen when authorised.
