Was there a changelog involved? I hope it fixes the throttling/overheating issues.

Ok, after checking XDA it seems that the new update:

    • updated the baseband
    • updated the build number
    • updated the kernel
    • added 2 new screensavers
    • updated camera firmware

I like it's flat user interface, everything is right there in front of you. Don't have to through 20 sections to get to something. Might be too simple, but I have done so much rooting in the past 3+ years that I have gotten tired of them all, so simple is great for me right now. All I do is take pics now and then, listen to the music, text, and call. It does them all in a clear and sexy way.

My phone gets more attention than the guy with galaxy s4 next to me lol.

One more thing, after the latest update the browser zooms in closer than before.

    I have the phone now....

    + Feels nice to hold
+ You barely notice it is in your hand or your pocket as it is so light
    + Great build quality

    - Touchwiz is just a mess, I used to like it when I had a GS2 but I dunno what Samsung have done but it feels so bloated with too many menus and sub menus and I struggle to find anything.

    - The screen has a pint tint at the bottom, I have dead pixels and crazy ghosting, it's like if you move the menu up and down you see the blue bars and text ghost like mad.

    - Only 8gb usable and you cannot install apps to micro SD anymore...... wtf? What is the point of having a Micro SD then, just a ****ing useless PoS phone where I'm out of space already and cannot install anything else.

    - Loudspeaker sucks balls

    - Camera over saturates every pictures and the FoV is way too narrow.

    - The mics suck, the audio quality in video is crap and it's shaky like mad.

    - Cannot get flash player to work at all, even installing a third party browser it just crashes all the frigging time...

    etc etc.

The phone is complete garbage, I didn't like the HTC One but I see why every reviewer prefers it, that phone is better in almost every way apart from you cannot get the battery out and build quality issues.

I wish I never bothered upgrading now, just gonna sell the GS4 and stick to my Nokia and just hope they or Google announce something special this month.

People have been whining about lag/stutter a lot (even with custom launchets) on Finnish forums and the available space for apps. It looks like Samsung does it again...

Lol -- I have it now on TMobile and I think your pros are cons for me. The device is slippery as hell and feels slimy after a few hours of use. I also think the build quality is terrible. Though it does feel light. Plastic is fine -- they just need to change the texture.

I don't have any issues with the screen. I do get that ghosting thing in the menu but that's it and it's only with low brightness. There were rumors that that only happened recently after a patch so maybe it's a software/firmware thing.

The storage thing doesn't really bother me but I do see it as a con.

The Camera mic does suck but voice quality/recording seems to be excellent.

My camera doesn't seem to over-saturate things, in decent lighting it performs great -- in low lighting it seems to under-saturate.

The device does stutter a lot, but it's seems pretty obvious it's a governor issue and not from throttling or anything (although it does throttle when benchmarked). It's pretty retarded that only OptimusG Pro and the HTC One are the only devices with S4/S600 that can properly cool the processor.

I'm going to hang onto it until this fall then sell it for something with a S800 processor in it. Hopefully Nexus 5.

Yeah but it probably won't launch till Fall.

Got my S4 yesterday. Nice upgrade coming from an S2. Still discovering new things and tweaking until I get the setup right. I know eclap said he has had great life out of his so far but I guess as mine is new I'm on it a lot, as my battery life is nothing to shout about so far. And I have only had it for 24 hours! Love it so far though..

The best comparison is to just look at screen on times. I didn't own an S2 but compared to my Galaxy Nexus the S4 is waaaaay better on battery. My Galaxy Nexus was lucky to see ~2 hours with extended, my S4 hit 4hrs 20 minutes yesterday with 3% battery left.
