I traded in my S2 so haven't been able to compare. One thing I have found to be annoying, all be it something minor, is there doesn't seem to be an option auto correct on the stock keyboard. I hope that this gets changed as when typing at speed its easy to make mistakes.
^^ Another great keyboard is SwiftKey, excellent keyboard with endless options... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey&hl=en_GB
Yeah Swiftkey is best. My Xperia Z has issues. if i can save it, i will give it to Wife. that softbrick issue gave me a COLD feeling about the phone. now i may go for HTC one or S4 but damn. S4 is most smart move but HTC one looks cool too from internet . need to touch it.htc one is smaller too i guess.
One: 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm (5.41 x 2.69 x 0.37 in) 143 grams S4: 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm (5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 in) 130 grams The One is slightly taller due to its front facing stereo speakers, I guess. Also heavier since it's made from aluminium vs. the plastic S4. Hardly any noticeable difference between the two, size or weight wise, IMO.
Nice find denaial, looks great. Found this. I copied & pasted the comment, made me laugh. Yeah with HTC you have an aluminum back plus removable battery and sd card slot, oh wait it doesn't have those things.
Just spoke to eclap about those aluminium cases. Might be worth a buy seeing that they're only £4.79, free delivery. Not much of raised edge on the front though which is the only let down..
Yes, behind the phone.. not a problem for me, personally i rarely use a smartphone as audio "speaker" source. If it is for outdoor use, better just have a speaker DLNA box. The sview cover look nice, the features associated are nice too, not just a cover.
You guys just made me order an aluminium case for my Note II, dam you! Not bad for £7 plus £2 for shipping:
Go to phones4u, they may buy out your contract early then you can take out a new one. I did this and I got unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data, free handset for £36 a month on EE.
If it's real aluminum, you're going to lose NFC, any wireless charging ability you could have had and probably signal strength as well. Covering the entire back in aluminum is probably a bad idea...
