Samsung Curved Monitor Sales Pass One Million Mark

If really true I'm surprised they sold that much!

 

It still looks like very low adoption rate.

 

Curved monitors, curved TVs, curved BluRay players, what will they curve next?
Cell phones?

 

Not good news for me, the only thing I want to be curved is my crt tv for retro gaming, let´s hope they don´t start to push curved displays to all their lines.

I'm glad to see curved screens have gained some level of popularity, with monitors at least it can make a big difference to the immersion factor. Curved ultra-wides are amazing for gaming.

 

I heard their tech department is hard at work on bananas for the next big to be curved break through.... sigh we can dream though.

I always wondered what their real motivation was for curved products.

 

The Galaxy Nexus from late 2011 was slightly curved even though it only had a 4.65" screen.

 

next: "curvation" glasses so you can feel life is more "immersive", hehe. I don´t think there are any real advantages for it to work as well or better than a flat screen, distorted geometry and reduced visible area are more like a no no.
