We'll be starting to see more consumer 8K displays, then?

I have trouble with 4K as it is. 8K would be like the retina effect on a 200" panel from 3 feet. Awesome, but probably not worth the content creation.

What I would find interesting is if they started working on AI-based upscalers (or at least AI-generated ASIC upscalers) for consumer panels. Basically like Nvidia's DLSS minus the resolution loss. Then content providers can stick with 1080p or 4k for the foreseeable future.

    I wish a manufacturer would announce a 32" 4K 120hz g-sync monitor. Jesus Christ, it's like pulling teeth :(
