    Hi All

I have a Samung 226bw (A panel from what I can see) hooked up to my 360 via a VGA cable. I just cannot get the colours and contrast looking right. Does anyone have any settings or suggestions for me to help dial the screen in?

Not sure on a Xbox but Im sure DVI would improve as well as HDMI over a LCD TV rather than a PC LCD Pannel.

If you haven't already, make sure you have chosen the highest resolution your monitor can support and change the colour profile in the 360 settings blade also make sure you have installed the latest update for your 360 as there were a few quality issues with vga that have now been fixed. Your monitor may also have different colour profiles in its menu such as movie / photo / game etc...

I sold my 360 before the update was released so i don't know exactly where the option is located but i think the settings you can choose are standard or expanded.

To bring up the Magicbright menu on the monitor hit the 2nd button from the left and it will give you the color options, Game, Internet, Text, etc... see if that works.
