    Hi

I know there have been problems with ati cards and 120hz lcd monitors. I am thinking to get the viewsonic vx2268wm or samsung 2233rz but I dont know which works best or if even one of them works with 120hz on ati. Has it been fixed with the latest drivers or is it still problems with the 120hz on ati ?

If you have a 5870 and one of two monitors plz tell me if 120hz works for you :)

I don't know about those two monitors. I do know that my alienware aw2310 works fine with my 5870 at 120Hz. Not sure if the older 120Hz monitors do though.

hmmmmmmm system in my sig.... and my 5870 2GB wont let me set my refresh to anything but 60hz..when with my GTX 295, or any other Nvidia I can run 120hz ( Veiwsonic) setting in control panel...how the heck are you guys getting 120hz?? its supposed to be an issue with ATI not being able to run 120hz??? with the 5800series??

That's because the 2gb eyefinity cards only support single channel DVI - which won't do 120hz [at a decent resolution].

    If you want 120hz, you'll have to get a regular 1gig 5870.
