There is possibly a problem with Wattman on the 17.9.1.
I unfortunately flashed my BIOS, and then updated the driver, so I'm not sure if it was my BIOS flash or the driver that is holding back.

With 17.8.2, my default voltage for the HBM was 1.050V, for 945MHz, but I can get that down to 1000mV for 1100MHz just fine.
Anything over 1100MHz just crashes. I think i'll go back to 17.8.2 for the moment, as everything seemed to be working better with that driver.
i'll give it a test, at least.

HBM2 at 1050MHz-1090MHz is just fine, the bandwidth is more than enough.
    Watch Buildzoid OC undervolt.

Went back to 17.8.2 and no change. Anything over 1.050v on the memory slider and HBM gets stuck at 800Mhz.

Just a question for all the Vega owners : What tools and settings are you using to overclock your Vega ?
Just wondering if there was another way than Wattman to do it....

If you need old school Fan adjustment, pick AB for it :D
Don't set same values in any state!
P1 to P7 need to have different values -> Then Bench in Games
ATI needs to buy some Benchmarks to be the winner there

I use OverdriveNTool. Much easier to navigate then Wattman.

By the way, I'm getting constant crashes from my video card. It happens when I'm doing basically nothing, browsing the web and such. During benching and gaming it's rock solid. Seems driver related.

OK, i'll have to give that a go then.

I've dropped back to 17.8.2 for the moment, but it doesn't seem any more stable than the 17.9.1.

+1 for OverdriveNTool. Was the only thing that works 100% for me.

IMO Vega is still on Beta bench -> November and so forth we will have breakthrough in Driver development.
V56 will surpass 50/60% of Fury-X (Now it packs only 30-40%)
