Some 18.7.1 Driver runs with 3Dmark
First with my New UV Default, second is with my Gaming UV clocks (using for Prey)

New Graphics Firestirke high of 28791 with my Powercolor Red Devil Vega 64 flashed with a Liquid bios on the stock cooler, with tess off on the driver level per HWBot submission rules.
Hmm, i will test with Tess OFF someday

Yeah in Adrenalin.under gaming tab...global...just remember I was only testing this since it is allowed for valid HWBot submissions. I am not really sure how this being off would affect how games look. So I am not trying to cheese the results.
NP, i will never switch OFF Tess in Games

I actually sold my 1080ti to switch to Vega 64 (I don´t play in 4k, so the 1080ti was overkill), and with the overhead I stepped up to Threadripper Thanks to the miners I sold that 1080ti for more money then I paid new back in april 2017.
I bought a reference pcb with free crappy aircooler on top and replaced that with a waterblock. Then flashed LE-bios on it and dear god what have I unleashed. For baseline I left voltage on stock 1.25 and just raised PL a modest +25%. Result was a cool and bored Vega 64 in firestrike and heaven benchmarks. Sipping 300W the Core (~1720MHz no OC yet) was capping out at 47°C, Hotspot temp peaked at 65°C. HBM (1015MHz) at 48°C. Ambient temp was 24°C.
I tried undervolting, but my card does not like that at all. Tried it with 1.2 instead of 1.25, since even with 300W PL it rarely went up to 1.2V, but that is an instant crash.
Any experience on how safe the stock voltage is with full +50% powerlimit? Temps seem fine to me, I think I can give it that extra power, but what is the Vega electron immigration policy on crowded borders? I come from the dark green side, where they already freak out if you want to try and overvolt to 1.2V...

I did the same thing and ended up going from a 1080Ti to an RX Vega 64 as well when I built my Ryzen system. Like you said when using FreeSync / GSync they are pretty indistinguishable since you are locked to the max refresh rate of the monitor, which in the 1080ti's case was 100hz since it is being utilized on an Acer Predator x34. My Vega on the other hand is on an Acer XZ321QU 32" 144hz 1440p FreeSync monitor so I see higher peak frame rates anyway and the Avg and Min frame rates are still over 60FPS in any of the titles I play at 1440p.

Do I need to disable wattman before monitoring voltage ? Afterburner says it's dangerous to have more than one thing monitoring voltage.
I was going to use Afterburner to check my voltage, using the unlock voltage monitoring
Honestly I can't even find how to monitor voltage in wattman anyway, it's really annoying
EDIT; It's alright, being one for a gamble I just went for it, unlocked voltage monitering in Afterburner, set it up as a graph, seems ot peak around 1.068, which isn't far off as I have it set in overdriventool for 1599Mhz @ 1.064
Well, it did just hit 1.075 during some BF1, although I can't find it in the graph history, it just says that was MAX. So must assume it was very brief.
Either way, this all seems to be working much more as expected, than my previous attempt with my other card. (I have the Strix Vega 64 now)
