Do not push to Badass ;)
Mix - Ultra/Badass + some things on Medium (can't see the difference).
Try to search my thread for Tweaks :p
Im Happy with BL3 on my Vega, game looks good & working NP at 65-70FPS w/Freesync.
    Smooth and fast.

I have HUB Quality but with Med. Draw & Shadows on High :D

May be off topic as it's more personal experience with the card. I settled for this vBIOS on my reference Vega 56.

Still gives me a decent enough boost from raw Vega 56 performance, but a lot more stable than even the new version Vega 56 vBIOS - which had some black screens , maybe due to different HBM2 voltages on those new BIOSes.
    Lesson learnt.

Now i am thinking what could have caused the black screens; other than flashing the newer BIOS obviously. But i have a EVGA G3 850W with each PCIE cable only having one plug, both 8pins were separate.

I couldn't solve the black screens before but the newer vBIOS appears to have been the cause. I flashed the old 64 vBIOS and am yet to fully verify, but the black screens seem to have subsided.

Maybe my HBM degraded (i used to try and OC it to 1000-1100mhz in 2019, but on Vega 56 bios it wouldn't not artifact past 980mhz, then it was 970mhz..... and then even on Vega 64 vBIOS, 1100 was not stable. and even with high fan, it could been sensitive to it.).

Now if i do upgrade for stability's sake, I don't know if anyone will want my specific card if i degraded the HBM, maybe sell it as for parts or not working; But it was my stuff that i made mistakes with, so i'm going to account as my responsibility. I'll probably keep this card as a backup, for idle desktop usage or checking should be fine.

I would get a new Vega 64, Nitro+ or even updated Gigabyte (if they fixed the vBIOS with the excessive boost they did in previous AIB GIgabyte's, so that it doesn't die and overheat the HBM2 VRM) but these cards are going for 500-700 GBP in the UK, used, on Ebay. Bids at 400£ minimum.

I think i'll keep it. But i will keep my eye on a possible 6700 XT.

Vega, keep burning Bright my dear, if not for me, for others then :)

My vega 64 died of HBM failure , but it was running close to 1200mhz one day just artifacts and thats it. And I sold it for 215£, it was watercooled, it got me a position on the top 100 in firestrike :)

1750mhz/1200mhz a normal oc on my vega. I think I overdid on the waterblock when I repasted it.

Try a normal vega bios with the lower clocks.

I take this screenshot while unigine heaven in background. Hwinfo and AMD's performance metric screen shows different GPU clock. Which one is more accurate?

What's going on with Vega? Something funky there, performing similar to polaris

After almost 3 years on a V64 BIOS (XFX) I went back to the original 56 one (180w) for UEFI compatibility reasons.
My core oc settings still work (obviously), but I'm completely out of touch with HBM voltages (Samsung modules).

Right now I'm on 950MHz and 900mV (Adrenaline), seems stable, but I'm not so sure. As far as I can remember, this is not the actual HBM voltage, but some auxiliary setting.

Any tips for a stable 24/7 summer?

    TY!

Needs tweaking.... Not optimised for ATI at all.
