Just an update, i found using Main3D at 2 and FlipQueueSize at 1 and Stuttermode default (just set the _mclk to 0) gives me even better results, maybe because setting Main3D to 1 reduces the frames processed by CPU and not pre-rendered frames, so reducing it actually cuts FPS as there is less CPU bound work done for the driver. Still need to test more games. I hope this year i can get a RX 6000 card, i got a 5600x.

UPD. slightly better for Vega & Navi 1
Spoiler: Old Driver
Might be a dumb question. Is there a way that I can use Radeon software to set my clock speeds and voltages while using the memory tool to set timings? For some reason my card isn't stable at the same clocks using OverdriveNTool or AMD Memory Tweak compared to Radeon. But I think i have reached the peak of what I can get out of this card without tweaking the memory timings.
I will update soon on my settings and results. Finally hit over 8000 on Time Spy and 21,940 on Firestrike with 26,628 graphics. I have a Sapphire Vega 56 Pulse flashed with XFX Vega 64 bios.
This is with an underperforming Ryzen 3600x. I think I just got a poorly binned one. Speeds seem fine on it but my benchmarking scores on it are less than average even with a decent air cooler(Sythe Fuma 2).
Thanks for any input!
You can even set per game OC - under Tune Game Performance
Just Save it when You make it (not into CN folder, it gets deleted after new driver install).
Some games need it, OverdriveNTool must be set + in Game OC.
BFV & Forza don't see OverdriveNTool OC correctly.
HitMan 3 UPD. w/21.1.1
Free performance for Vega & Navi 1
So today i finally changed the thermal paste on my Vega 64 LC and its working like a charm.
5-10 C° temp drop.
Should have made it way earlier i know
Old thermal paste way to less and hard as a rock.
Idle down to ~20C°
Max Temp 48 C° from 50-55 C°
BL3 Ultra settings 55-80 FPS depending on map.
^ I don't need to do this
Temps are fine.
And i don't want to
I really had to do it, since i always had some stability issues.
Now the card seems way more stable and no annoying stutters, UV seems good aswell.
Just a heads up OnNa, there is a line in your 'reg' unlocker that for some reason is meant for your display but on my VA 200hz via HDMI 2.1 it causes pixel timings to break sometimes using freesync/enhanced sync via HDMI making my display and my monitor OSD slightly distorted. (yes you can use it since HDMI 2.0). Might be something to do with gamma but dont worry, i was prepared, all i had to do was delete the card from display manager and let it reinstall the driver. Then i just added the _NA extensions unlocked myself except anything to do with video or gamma.
This is the reason why you have to figure out what to do with tweaks yourself, and why AMD will reduce the freedom for us to do that - too many complaints from simple Joes saying 'IT BROKE MY COMPUTER'.
Anyway, on topic of drivers or tweaks, I found that with 'Standard' driver and 'High' texture quality, no overrides whatsoever, my games play the best with Freesync at 10/12bit HDMI 2560x1080 @ 144/120hz, and i can even use HDR, although getting color temperature right is another story. 12-bit at 120hz though, using a good cable, on ultrawide, with HDR, is beautiful to look at , even if colors seem 'too' vibrant with HDR on. Microsoft really needs to add more options for HDR in the panel
I am using my Vega in Air Boost 56 bios. Because the cooling on it is not enough for vega 64 bios, since it hits 78c - 91c hotspot on V56 Bios. I guess it's the blower, or needs a repaste. At least the card still does rock, i only wish i could have had a non-blower. Oh well, soon may be able to buy a RX 6000, but i will miss GCN a little =)
Those are custom resolutions for Old DEMOS from Demo scene
13,60,07,68,00,00,00,60 means 1360:768 60Hz and so on....
Never mind, looks like its something to do with my card's' HDMI port, switching to Displayport solved it
Vega64 costs 500$ here right now. I kinda regret i dint get one when they ware 230$ for the reference ver.
