I'm mainly doing it to see what is possible. In my younger days ,hot rodding cars was my passion till I got older and it got too expensive!
I'm not sure that building a great gaming rig is any cheaper;). My dad built PC's well into his 90's. As I near retirement I still find overclocking (hot rodding) an enjoyable pastime.I know I'm off topic, but my dad continued to learn and enjoy computing till he passed at 96.Thanks to all for a great forum:)

Just got Star Citizen. And it runs very well 1440p.

It uses over 8g most of the time so HBCC is set ot 12g and Ram uses 15g most of the time.

Will do some video on it just to show the performance.

Still a noob on the game.

VLK (DX12 at Guru3D main by HH)
For those with Weaker CPUs VLK is way to go.
For Radeon VII or Vega 64/56 VLK is notch better (better Lows 0.1%).

Im using the PPtable also on my 1600 and I must say I have better results.

vega 64 is just growing and growing with the new games.

Even on Star citizen that I put above is behaving very well, I need more cpu power.

If you guys are on Star Citizen put the CPU has high precision in windows task manager. Changed from around 60 fps to 70

    What game bro?
If DOOM then You'll have a switch in settings (toggle between OGL & VLK)

Second game in a row 580 is beating even 1660. :D

    Vega56 again fast as 1080.

We need to wait for patches, CPU side of the game is lacking.
Up to 24T can be used !
For comparison i may add that BFV uses (real) up to 11-13T ;)
BF1 up to 9-11T.... So it's not ready yet (Beta states at best).
But GPU side clearly showing that GCN in new *DX11.5 can deliver.

*It's not 11.1 for sure, BTW they should go DX12 rute already (better for everyone).

You need to play at last 2-3 matches.
Then is stutter free, tried DX12 some time ago and it was fine.

    Note:
Reshade now supports DX12/VLK so i will switch to DX12.

Does it impact alot on performance?
