it was my 1 edit, I had music when I was playing but youtube was going to get angry about it. SO I had to use free youtube music.

If its nice with the gameplay will keep it up.

Maybe will do a boss today and put it here :)

Here some aditional tests (game internal bench.)
    Vega HBCC 12.3GB 1712MHz/1120HBM2 CL16 | ZEN2 4350MHz 3800CL16 1T FLCK 1900
    Used:
    All V.High, Far Shad. Low | Score: A 70FPS
All Ultra, Far Shad. High | Score: A 66FPS
All Ultimate, Far Shad. Low | Score: A 59FPS

    I'd say it's an Great performance :D
For my Playtime im using Mixed |1668MHz 1120HBM2, ZEN2 at my new Default for Gaming 4350MHz CCX1 1.35v|:
Ultra/V.High, Long Shad. Low, Vol. Fog at High (69-70FPS all't time)

FRT 71Hz in Relive ;) (as always for my FreeSync), in Game 70FPS cap.
Vega64 is still strong GPU for Gaming.

As i said, BreakPoint is new Crysis for GPU/CPU test.

Thanks :). Feedback is always good. The only reason for the music is because I had ACDC on the back, youtube will be crazy if I put acdc so I had to use free youtube music.

Will put another One with the 1 boss of the game, its hard to kill.

But the Vega is a very strong card. Loving it

    Just as a question,

I have little time so here it goes.

    For next video:

1- The Surge 2 - More riping heads of?
2- Division 2 - Fps test showing how Vega plays
    3 - Wolcen - Fps test just a run on a map
    4- No man sky

Takes me 3 to 4 hours just to render and to upload to youtube :(

My 1600 at 4ghz is short for this.

I have one hell of a question here:
Did someone actually test if on vega HBM clock have a better impact on a 1% lows than core clock? Also timings vs HBM clocks?

Does or has anyone had the issue of driver/wattman reset when first loading a intensive 3D app or game when OC/UV?

I'll load my setting in wattman then load into game or benchmark. App will run for a few(30-60sec) then crash to desktop with a driver reset. I'll load setting again and run same program never crashes(even looped Heaven over night)after that. What have noticed is that GPU clocks and wattage is lower after reset.
    Ex.

    P7-1702mhz @1150mv

Before crash- In app clocks- 1670-1680mhz w/ 280-298w
After reset- In app clocks- 1640-1650mhz w/ 265-276w

When I look at HWinfo it shows a clock spike to 1737-1742mhz and most time a spike to 1180-1200mv right before crash.
I've tried different setting, voltages, etc. Only way it doesnt do this is if I lower the O/C(1677mhz or less)and or up the voltage.( 1200v)

    Any ideas?

Best is to have (like me) both :p
1120MHz 918mV with CL16 is my best all-around for Gaming (for FS is 1175MHz, for TS 1160MHz, without TimingMod it can go up to 1210MHz !)
For better HBM2 OC i need to rise V, and then it heats up more, but gain is not that big - to be the case.

AFAiK 0.1% Lows can be better when You change CPU (or give ZEN better 'LLT' Timings)
    I was runing 1700 at 3.93GHz 1.395v w/ 3466MHZ CL14 1T and it was OK,
but now (Thanks to ZEN2) im more convinced that Better CPU is better for 0.1%Lows.

Look at 9900K 5GHz Tests, and i have similar results for 0.1 & 0.01%, top is still better on 5GHz i7.
But still im happy what i've got for now.
ZEN1, + or Zen2 are far better with LLT (low latency timings),
    3800MHz CL16-17-17-16-33-44-350 1T 63ns -> means i have good FPS in all my games.

Yep, I've noticed that behavior while finding the limits of my card as well.

It seems to get stuck in some kind of "safety" mode after reset and, as you noticed, you'll lose performance. My take was that it could be a power spike, as I noticed similar high boosts/low voltage before a crash as you did, and speculated that the PSU wasn't reacting quickly enough but I have no real way of testing that.

Regardless, I haven't found any novel way of avoiding this behavior. It's all about juggling clocks, voltage and power limits. I run my V56 at ~180W power limit and while that results in slightly lower performance than, say, ~200-210W I don't seem to trigger those spikes.

Will give you my experience, mine will be more valid becuase I have a crap Vega 64 (crap as it does not oc that well). Mine max clocks are around 1650mhz on water no matter what I do. Still I get 8100 in timespy gpu score just with Onna tweaks. So get OverdriveNtool and do a profile put 1625mhz and 1030mv as P7 Hbm put 1120 at 950mv. Check with this HWInfo and see your hot spot. if its going to 100c you have a bad contact and if its a unmolded die it will be very hard to get rid of the high hot spot temps. this will your oc and those spikes to 1750+ will onl make the card crash, so keep the power target at 15% max for now.

    Hope this helps

You can check my clocks on the video above.

Ieee timespy gor 8100 score on the Gpu. cant go more, card crashes hard over 1680mhz.

but HBM i can run it 1185mh all day long

Thats good. Didnt see vega going much higher than 8500. Faster cpu wont help you much.

it sounds like typical crash. lower clocks seems to be (as mentioned above) safety future in wattman. it looks like it does remeber last stable settings. you have to try to incease V or lover clocks by little bits until it stops to crash.

Yeah if the driver crashes Wattman restores the defaults which is why saving to a profile and loading that is recommended. (And also double checking on reboot so the profile actually is active and if not load it in also on a fresh start.) though yeah if it's not stable either increase or decrease the setting depending on what you're going for and then test again. :)
(Higher voltage perhaps or lower clock speed, it's a bit of a balance act.)

I agree with the cpu part, i was taking cpu out of the equation because i've got zen 2
    [IMG]
This is stable and gives me around 212cb15 single core, latency is 63-64 but that's only because of asus motherboard (do not buy asus now for zen 2, it sucks, even hero boards which i use)
I do not have a liquid solution like you do D: so i have to make tradeoffs. Also my vega bin quality is very bad... recently i've moved off my 1672 1100mv clock to a 1650 1050mv because it clocks higher under load. Now i am wondering if i should trade more core clock for HBM clock/timings, just talking about 1% lows, i only play games at my 1% lows capped.

    ^^ When i saw that 1.5v on 7nm chip -> that's creazy o_O
I have CM Nepton 280L (*50% Fans, max temps ~70deg when Heavy rendering, in Gaming not exceed ~62deg.)
    That is on 4350MHz 4xC at 1.36v
All cores at 4300MHz needs ~1.33v
I can go up to 4400MHz with ~1.439v but iMhO it's just too much V for it.

~4600MHz -> gosh that CPU of Yours is like Big-UFO (i will not try to do this ;))

*Those CM Fans (JetFlo 140 fans) are loud as airport, that's why only up to 60% is resonable.

Glad to see I'm not only one...lol. Yeah if I put it at 1200mv then it doesnt crash till I reach max P7-1732mhz any higher then issues. I can hit 1742mhz but need the 1250mv. Its just way to hot at that point. Hot spot hits well over 100c. I dont like UV to much because then clocks start to go down.

Ex. All clocks after driver/crash reset except 1200mv*
    -P7- 1702mhz
In game clocks avg. with fans @ 70% max

    1200mv*-1662mhz- 289-330 watts 68-70c (Hot spot 105-115c)
    1150mv-1646mhz- 270-280 63-64c (Hot spot 87-89c)
    1125mv-1638mhz- 257-265 61-62c
    1110mv-1632mhz- 252-260 61-62c
    1050mv-1603mhz- 223-235 58-60c
