@OnnA I figured it out, I know why it wasn't working! If any users are having difficulty with using, editing, or saving power play tables or anything to do with the use of GTK, Disable your virus protection and windows protection. As the new update reads it as a threat, and disables and cancels out any modifying.

@OnnA, Question, I haven't flashed my card as I have hynix memory and I heard that you cannot flash a card with hynix memory successfully. But, how come I hear of users doing 1000+mhz on their HBM with their Vega 56 cards.... Mine will not do anything over 950mhz without artifacting and then crashing?

950MHz is still a good OC, try to enjoy the H/W and Play some games.
Vega 56/64 are great hardware IMO, just Play :p

There are some Vegas 56 with Samsung HBM2 memory, such as mime ;)

@OnnA I do, but as I got older my hobbies changed. I love to push hardware, and see what it is truly made of. Learn as much as I can, and show the world that you do not have to spend $1,000 to get amazing framerates!

That’s a solid OC for Hynix memory. High OCs work only with samsung memory and the Vega 64 BIOSes, since on 56s the mem voltage is locked lower

I'm curious: still on my Vega 64 ROG Strix, which seems like I have kinda lost the silicon lottery with this one.
I'm not able to "overclock" GPU by much, since I can't get it stable past like 1680MHz, despite most GPU-intensive games averaging below 1500MHz. I also cannot undervolt P7 below 1160mV without stability issues.

Memory-wise it seems much better though, reaching 1100MHz with ease (though not in every single game *cough*Battlefield 1).

I have a question about Radeon-settings memory timings: what is the difference between the 'Auto'-setting and level 1 and 2?

I can play a game like Final Fantasy XIII-2 all night with 'Auto' without crashing once, but on 'level 2' it CTDs after a short while.
I know FF XIII-2 is poorly optimised for PC and won't even clock the memory higher than 800MHz, but still...
Gears of War Ultimate Edition also isn't stable with 'level 2 timings'. And yeah performance isn't great with that game on Vega, while it runs smooth on my wife's laptop-GTX1060...

Almost nothing. The only memory timing that changes is tRRDL(Row Active to Row Active Delay Long).

    Level 0/Auto/Default: tRRDL = 6
    Level 1: tRRDL = 5
    Level 2: tRRDL = 4

@apple020997 Yeah I heard that for a Vega 56 that 950mhz is a good OC for the memory, but I have my Vega Voltages set . I have a 300% power limit, SOCKET/TDC/POWER set to 450 and I can reach up to 1.350V for Memory and 1.300V for GPU CORE. My Vega 56 core clock is stable around 1787-1803mhz.

if that mem voltage is the same as in Wattman, it isn’t the real mem voltage. It’s the Infinity Fabric voltage, or interposer voltage, or floor voltage. Real mem voltage is “hard locked” in the BIOS

    No Big difference in Gaming.
    Same clocks used: 1750MHz 1.118v 1145/1150 HBM 0.981v +1% POW | CPU at~4GHz RAM 3474MHz CL14 (w/Stable HBM Mem Tweak at CL18) | Tess x8

Im sometimes conducting Driver Tests for Performance comparison between them.
For Now the WHQL 19.7.1 & Beta 19.7.3 are the fastest.
19.8.1 is close but no cigar :p, but YT + Playing Games is fixed for me in this one.
No Flickering, stable & quite fast.

So 19.8.1 is recommended by me for Vega.
Upg. from 19.7.3, no clean install.

If it means anything: Final Fantasy XIII-2 seems to play a lot smoother with 19.8.1 compared to .7.5.
Of course it's not caused by pure graphics performance, since the Vega downclocks heavily with this game, but it's less stuttery, and there are less framedrops.

It's possible it's just my imagination, but maybe driver overhead has improved a little? At least in unoptimized DX9 titles?
