RX 6700 is suppose to cost $400, not 1-2k :\...
yah man I feel you. 2070 super going to have to last me a while at this point. Dont think its amd but more the retailer/e-tailers.
My local store added the 6700XT to their list today with absolutely no notice or fanfare.
They are all priced between $750 to $1030.
They are all out of stock.
I was surprised to have someone just purchase a 2070 Super I'd enrolled in a 3080 StepUp from me for $1,400 and explain they were trying to find a 6700 XT prior to that. Just how expensive are they now?
Someone in my neck of the woods managed to land a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6700 XT for the equivalent of 744USD. Considering the crazy way out there prices I've seen posted in TPU, this doesn't seem half bad (NOT saying it's a good price per se).
tryed F5 all the time yesterday, no luck
just added to cart, then no able to go to checkout (error 503)
beside that, this card shoud cost no more than 450€/$ as basically is the same 5700xt +4gb and +500mhz
When I built my pc 1 1/2 years ago I got a 2070S and thought it could have been a "bad idea" as the new gpu's were on the horizon.
I'm so glad I have that 2070S right now.
When I built my current machine last January I thought I'd hang onto the video card and wait for the first mid-range AMD ray-tracing cards this year.
Everything else was upgraded (nice!). Ol' grandpa video is still hobbling around, hopefully for another year or so.
