I just put a new XFX RX 590 8Gb in my new build.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x (Corsair Liquid Cooler)
    64Gb Corsair Quad Channel DDR4 2133Mhz
512Gb Samsung 970 EVO NVMe System Drive
1Tb Samsung 970 EVO NVMe Media Drive
    Windows 10 x64

It runs everything I have thrown at it like an absolute champ with the exception of this one thing...
    Civ 5 - Fine
    Black Ops - Fine

Utherverse (similar to secondlife) - crazy glitched out

    Everything else - Fine

Their support offered up the solution of installing a video driver that is years old and does not support my card. :-(

    Their statement to me was-

"The issue you are experiencing with the black flashes across your screen are due to a newer version of AMD graphics drivers.

Unfortunately, AMD has chosen to not include older graphical support to their latest drivers.

Therefor you would have to uninstall the latest graphics driver. And update to a older driver.

The older driver can be found here:

    https://www.guru3d.com/files-get/amd-catalyst-14-4-whql-(14-100-april-17)-download,1.html

If you install the older driver over the newer driver, you might run into compatibility issues.
Therefore, we advise to first uninstall your newer driver.

Instructions on how to uninstall AMD drivers can be found on their website:

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx

    Let us know the outcome."
They had me run dxdiag and everything came back fine.
I will upload some screenshots when I get home from work.
Please let me know if there is any other information that I can provide.

I really hope that someone here can help me out.
I know many other Utherverse users having the same trouble, and their tech support does not seem very helpful. :-(

Tried to change windows compatibility to Windows 7 or perhaps disabling fullscreen optimizations under Utherverse.exe file Properties?

Thanks for the great suggestion but I have already tried that and had no luck. Ran well but slow using my old nvidia gt 240?

Sorry, I could not find a good way to post a screenshot.

I tried asking them what was missing from the driver as they had stated but no one could give me an answer.
