rx 5700 xt issues

    Hello i just bought a 5700 and im having problems with old games like gw2.
    it will happen at random times my game will pause for a few seconds then go back to normal.
    anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

    I tried it gave me BSOD and gamer crashes.

    This is a new build with fresh windows and nver had a BSOD untill i tried the proxy.

    your build is probably lacking recent bios updates, and might have system ram tuned wrong, could even be one of several cpu's with a manufacturing defect that has happened recently.

    Sounds like resource load lag. Try clearing out the DX cache, or disabling it for the old game. Also, what CPU/Memory config do you have? @BlitzTown

    i tried clearing out the DX cache first few mins in game i get a lag spike.

    i was watching my clocks when i get a lag spike they go to 5hz

    soo...maybe it isnt 5700xt fault but your operating system. Virus/malware etc...

    i have a fresh install of windows 10 all updates and i scanned my pc for virus and maleware.

    I was also thinking maybe you are pushing your PSU, and getting moments where CPU and GPU are drawing too much at once. Did you connect the GPU to 2 rails?
