    I disagree I owned a GTX275 and I kno the nVidia driver team are very good and got a lot from that gen, ATI driver team on the other hand could have got more, after all the cards had more theoretical power

    A 2GB 4870 could already run GTAIV smoothly at 25x16 with everything maxed out including the view distance, but lacked the processing power for other resource hogs. The 5870 is twice as powerful, and there's a 2GB version on its way from Asus. I say let the drum roll begin.

    Thats what I just said, The drivers for the 2900xt in my personal opinion was holding the card back, some say it was due to architecture problems of the card, could have been both, but the card showed tremendous potential in some games however.
