I'm sure i'm not the only one here.

Got the PNY XLR8 model myself since i has the best heatsink out of the bunch, and the reviews didn't lie.

I am in the process of deshrouding it though, i'll have pictures of the triple A12x25 monster next week ;)

Gz on the gpu - good gpu for 1440p, especially if you got it at a decent price :)

No decent prices in the Netherlands, i got it for €1019. It has actually dropped €40 since, but i can't complain. This was was a much needed upgrade for me since i had a nearly 7 years old GTX 1070, and hopefully this new card will last me as long, and i'm sure it will since i'm playing capped 60 FPS.

Not the greatest card (smallest cooler, but still decent)
Currently in the process of trying undervolt for how low I need for 2800Mhz and also what voltage I need for 3Ghz if possible at all.

    The 4090 and 4080 won't fit in my case...so I went with
Asus TUF RTX 4070 TI OC
No undervolting or overclocking and the card boosts to 2790 and never exceeds 62C. I am pretty impressed with this card...so far, just playing around with overclock, I
have been able to get the card to hit 3000 mhz...without touching the power and temp limit sliders in Afterburner. I game at 1440p, so I am very happy with my choice.
I have a few games that now include DLSS 3, and don't see much difference from DLSS 2. Overall...this card is impressive for what it is. Got it for $50 over msrp...

It's done the PNY X Noctua RTX 4070 Ti.

I will have some numbers later :)

Pictures from inside the case will be taken at a later date, i'm still using the NVIDIA tentacle as CableMod won't ship new orders until late February.

Nice! And you used the black version of the fans, too. Reminds me of the time before water blocks were available for my 4090 TUF and I temporarily put three Uni-Fans on it while I was plasti-dipping the shroud. :)

    The results are in.

    • Capped 60 FPS: ±39C @ 500 RPM
    • Capped 120 FPS: ±52C @ 700 RPM
    • Uncapped: ±63C @ 750 RPM

Not that i need this as i play with capped FPS, but it seems 0.975v is about the limit for my card, i tried 0.950v but then the game crashed.

150W at 94% usage seems really good to me. The performance loss is acceptable.

I think 0.985v is the sweetspot for my GPU, cuz when i set it at 0.975v then HWiNFO64 actually shows the core going back up to 1.020v.

This drops the boost from 2805 MHz to 2775 MHz and the FPS seems to stay the same now from what i cen tell. Atleast from testing in Fortnite BR with Lumen at max settings.

Actually it doesn't seem to matter what voltage i set it to, it still likes to jump up every now and then. I guess that's either normal behaviour or Afterburner not working properly with the 4070 Ti yet.

It seems dropping the power limit works better for now, even though it drops the boost by up to 210 MHz. That's dropping the power limit down a to whooping 55%, which only drops the FPS by 5%.

You would likely gain back some of the performance if you lower core mhz with UV. I find that attempting to go as high as stock mhz with UV hurts performance vs just lowering clocks to like 2700 mhz.

Switched my space heater of an Evga 3080 Ti out for the cheapest one at microcenter, a Zotac 4070 Ti Trinity for 800$.

Cross-flashed with the amp extreme airo's vbios to get rid of power limit issues. Now the card is voltage limited and I keep it at 1.12v which mostly never pulls above 300 watts while maintaining ~3015mhz core clock (+135) on auto fan curve.

Full load temperature average is 66c.
Memory is at 1500mhz/24ghz effective flat or artifacts start happening. I get about 11% better performance and 150 watts less power draw than my 3080 ti max overclock.

The driver defaults to IRQ interrupt signaling instead of MSI mode like the RTX 30 series did. I enable MSI mode on my 4070 ti and I got about 2% more performance.
