Pity if it's so, my card would definitely have room to use more, staying at 60c or so. On that note, I had originally ordered from a different vendor but grabbed the card I got from another place. The other specimen (same Asus Dual OC) arrived today, and I briefly tested it. SIGNIFICANTLY worse OC specs, I couldn't get it over +130 core and +1500 memory, so I was lucky with the other one. Returning the one that arrived today.
there power limited from what read, dont know how true it is cause i dont OC gpu, but i pretty sure even the guru3d reviews state there power limited
I've OC'd it but it has power limits just above that (Alder Lake is ok to run hot AFAIK), and I don't mind, I'll be swapping in the 13900K within a year.
Hmm, reviews have stated that they have limited the power% range (IIRC founders max 110%, many others like mine max 108%), Kombustor even recognizes the raised limit being used but it doesn't swem to have an effect on actual power draw. Also, unlocking voltage in AB does nothing, no change in reported voltages. Need an AB update?
possible i dont know unwinder probably need the gpu info but i dont think that same issue as msi ab just not allowing the voltage to change. wait till next beta come and see if fixes it. could also be drivers or even hardware limited, dont know Nvidia seem to going out way limit 4000 series for then normal while raising prices
Oh wow, I posted about the power limit % and voltage not getting applied by AB, just a polite heads up / question, the post got deleted.
I guess it's about the MSI funding thing, but still weird to delete posts like that. He said "I will delete 1-post whiners", but it seems he's deleting much more then. :/
I upgraded from a dell t3500 with a 1070 to a dell 3630 with a 4070. The graphics card cost more than double the pc.
Timespy on my Ventus 3x and overclock: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/93042037? Sadly no Powerlimit increase possible yet, should be around 19000 GPU Score when enabled.
Did a fire strike stress test and passed fps stability 97.2 %. result: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/93107304?
Has anyone used the voltage slider in Afterburner? I've only used the oc scanner to overclock my card so far.
