    Hi all,

Thought I'd add to this thread again.

Can CONFIRM, Inno3D 2X OC now working with 470.05, however like everyone else has found, needs to be on PCIE 3.0, 16x or 8x. I was previously using a PCIE 2.0 board at 16x no luck.

Got my hands on a x99 board that will do 4 cards at PCIE 8x (5930k with 40 pcie lanes), MAY get to trying 4 3060's in one rig but will need some display dummy adapters.

Got 2 more 3060's on the way, will report back if I can get 3 or more of them working in this rig.

    Cheers everyone for their input!

    Mainboard: msi z87 g45 gaming
    Gpu 1: zotec gaming 3060
    Gpu 2: Gigabyte Eagle 3060
Both card are running in 8x pcie 3.0 mode

Note: Pls makr sure the bios is the latest version to ensure pcie 3.0 mode enabled, especially b85, h87 or z87 mainboard

then z370 chip boards with 3 ports at 16x or 8x are they valid only with the driver? the 1x pci ports can you put other 3070 cards or does that kill the hastrate of the 3060?

Are you sure the 3060 has a monitor connection?
    Also slot PCI-E v3.0 at least x8?

    Hey all,

    just adding to this again.

    3x 3060 working on a X99 board.

All have displays plugged inside in and running at 8x PCIE 3.0 each.

decided whether or not to buy fourth due to price hike recently and getting these 3 at normal prices lol..

I have an older Asus Prime Z270-K and can confirm I got one card working at 47Mh/s (after overclocking, otherwise just 41)
I will try getting a second one to work.

    1 x PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slot (at x16 mode)
1 x PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slot (max. at x4 mode, compatible with PCIe x1 and
    x4 devices)
    4 x PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x1 slots

Ok so, if it is this board : https://rog.asus.com/sg/motherboards/rog-rampage/rog-rampage-v-extreme-model/.

    looks like it will do it “4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16, x16/x16, x16/x8/x8 or x16/x8/x8/x8 mode with 40-LANE CPU; x16, x16/x8, x8/x8/x8 mode with 28-LANE CPU) *2”

so with 2620v3 it SHOULD be all 16x on all four, otherwise if you get 28 lane it’ll be 16x top and the rest 8x

my 5930k is 40 lane but bios auto puts the 2nd and 3rd card at 8x which still works fine :)

Also just using a 1000w PSU, power from the wall is around 405-410w with 3 3060s including cpu etc

What about this board? Says it is 8x PCI-e 16x.
    Could do 8x RTX 3060's.
    Only $242.

Sory....just saw it is Gen 2 speeds only.

    Hi all,

    MSI Z370 TOMAHAWK
    • 3 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (support x16/x4/x1 modes)
    • 3 x PCIe 3.0 x1 slots
    Processor: Celeron G4930

Working full speed only first slot, two others only half speed, monitors connected, driver a Trex OK

Wheres the problem? Can it be problem poor CPU?

    Thanks

    Marcel

EDIT: my mistake, others 2 slots is only x4 and x1 modes
