Here the driver:
Can confirm it is working on my Zotac RTX 3060 12GB. You need to make sure you are on the PCIe 16x 3.0 slot and need to connect it to a monitor.
THX - on my PC working ok. I have Ryzen + B550 + Palit 3060nonTi
Can anyone confirm whether it is 100% guaranteed to work as long as as it is the only card in the system and there is active monitor output?
I tried this, two cards on one motherboard, both connected to their own separate monitor, only max hash rate on one card.
In my tests yes, but who knows if it would be different with a different card?
The driver was pulled due to a security vulnerability identified in the UMD, not because of this "bug" that allowed a single 3060 to mine Ethhash.
source? and you actually believe in this statement?
do you know how responsible reporting works and what happens when you don't follow it?
Stop buying consumer cards, so the prices go back to normal. 1500€ for a 3070rtx or 2000€+ for a 3080rtx is idiotically absurd ripoff.
save your money for miner specific asic cards, idk 3080rtx range 500€ and call it a day.
Got mine working - Palit Dual OC 3060.
PCIE 3.0 16x slot
Core + 50
Will try now adding other non 3060 cards to see what happens.
I can confirm i5 6600 + ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC ~50mh/s with monitor connected over HDMI (displayport gimped the hashrate), Developer driver. Single card ITX setup for gaming / streaming, off hours mining.
I hope someone will pass this for the whole rig soon.
So this works in multi GPU setups as long as it's PCIe 16x 3.0 on the 3060.
I've got a 3080 and a 3060 running with the 3060 as the primary GPU and both are running at max hash rate as long as the 3060 is plugged into a monitor.
not gunna happen
only the first 3060 in the system will mine at full rate, additional 3060's won't.
You can use dummy hdmi plugs to get the other gpus to work.
theres no evidence of this (yet)
I'm sure there will be a video on youtube up in a week or so. Miners that are using the 3060 are already doing so.
Here's a video you should watch in the mean time.
pcie x8 and hdmi plug is neccessary for 3060’s max hash rate。
pcie support x8x8 motherboard(intel z
series, the cheapest is z87-a) and hdmi cheat device(1$)
in this way ，two 3060 cards can run max
how about 16X + 4X combination?
