Could it be a BIOS revision thing?

My Palit 3060 doesnt work (Z87 motherboard, one GPU, Windows 10) and has the 94.06.14.00.A1 BIOS, all the screenshots ive seen have 94.06.14.00.E1 or 94.06.14.00.DF.

    Anyone confirm?

So, from what I understand, so far only 1 GPU works, eh?

Yes for this moment. Hope the miner developer can find out the "hole" of the API, i.e. undocumented call.

What about the monitor thing I have been hearing. You need to make sure a dummy plug is on the card or there is a monitor plugged into the card. Does this fix it for you?

I have the MSI 3060 Gaming X TRIO. I Installed the driver and tried it with t-rex and phoenix miner both still have the limitation. I am getting 25MH/S. Will flashing this bios with this card work or is it for RTX 3060 GAMING X only?

For general use like gaming and such? Not necessarily.
Sometimes you see people report better frametimes and performance in developer drivers though so it's something that you should be testing with your particular hardware setup.
You can check general thread for this particular driver here: WDDM 3.0 / 470.05 | guru3D Forums

I just flashed my Palit Dual OC with a DF and the 94.06.14.40.45 BIOS and it didnt remove the limit for me with the new driver.

So probably not a BIOS thing but something else maybe?

Videocardz has picked up on this with several sites confirming: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060’s unhackable mining limiter has been hacked" https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-...to-remove-geforce-rtx-3060-eth-mining-limiter

HardwareLuxx is even linking directly to "my" BIOS file (se OP). The BIOS is not modded or special in any way - just what came with the card from MSI. :) LOL

IT IS NOT A BIOS THING. NO NEED TO FLASH.

Yes it seams not to be a BIOS thing. It's a mystery.

Sounds like its a system setup or config issue - I wonder what the similarities between working and non-working systems are. Interesting is the fact of "partial" unblock on some systems e.g. 25 MH (fully limited) vs 32 MH (partially limited) vs 45 mh/(unlimited).

I noticed that with dummy or monitor plugged in you can get + 10mh/s. (In my case from 22mh/s to 32mh/s)

I actually have 2 MSI RTX 3060 GAMING X cards (got them in the 10 minutes window before they sold out). Running on two different system that my kids use for gaming during the day. An Intel and a Ryzen system. Both work great with the driver.

Ok guys, my PNY now work at 50mh/s.
    What I do:
    - Unplug LAN cable
    - Remove previous driver with DDU without rebooting the PC
    - Install Nvidia Dev driver
    - Tune with MSI Afterburner (MEM: +1500, CORE: +100, PL: 70%)

    Edit:
In my case monitor or dummy must be plugged in, otherwise hashrate drop at around 27mh/s
