CPU clock peaks at 2145MHz, average is 2108MHz, and memory clock is 2350MHz stable (reported as 9401MHz in EVGA Precision I have no idea what the actual speed is, but will assume the lower number to be the more accurate one) I actually haven't hit the ceiling for memory yet, all benchmarks run fine, no glitches, but am not seeing a huge increase in scores now.
You might be able to squeeze out some more point with flashing BIOS to the Asus strix 3060Ti with higher power limit (325W vs 260W on the EVGA FTW3). If you have some experience with BIOS flashing then it's worth doing so for some extra points Asus Strix 3060Ti BIOS
i still kinda regret not getting a 3070 3060ti is plenty for 1440p,running rdr2 optimized settings+dlssq at 100-120fps here, but still,3070 would be better.3060Ti is extremely efficient though, with uv mine only needs 170-180W to outperform a reference 3060ti score and 160w to match it.
Haha yeah there is no end to the need for speed , we just have to live with what these GPU can offer. 5-10% higher FPS is not really noticeable anyways, that's why I have been running my 3090 at undervolts that use 250-300W only (1725-1905mhz depending on games). I think the 3060Ti is the most balanced GPU currently available, it pretty much occupy no man's land and could very well replace 1060 and 2060 as most popular GPU had it not been gobbled up by miners.
I think it's more like a successor to 1070,cut down ga104 at $400 msrp the name is not that important nowadays,it's 35% faster than 3060 non-ti so there's that
Gpu temps at 2100mhz and 1.018v gets to max 68c (default fan curve) and hotspot about 75c max very good temps however no vram temp sensor on my card my old rx 5700 ran at 60c core but 90c hotspot lol that was crazy Idle sits at 30 ish core and hotspot always 10c higher
My friend own an msi ventus 3x, it has one 8 pin connector any bios suggestion i could flash his card with
New 3060ti by zotac based on GA 103 and not like the GA 104, but we have to wait and see if it has the same performance, on base clocks it s supposed to be same performance as the GA 104
Is this the best for 1080p gaming? Or shall i go all in now that prices are falling and get a 3070 ti? Am thinking future proofing. I've currently got a 1060 6gb
If you can get a 3070ti for around 750 pounds then go for it 3060ti is a brilliant card for 1080p a great card for 1440p and even some 4k here and there
I d say wait , prices are still high for these cards, i got myself a rtx 2060 just because i need dlss and i got it for 420, and i ll be selling my rx 580 for 380, so it was a 40$ dollar difference so i went for it, otherwise i d say wait more for the 3060ti
MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GAMING X TRIO Ampere Graphics Card | Ebuyer.com This issn't badly priced.
I picked up a Gigabyte 3060ti Vision OC V2 the other day for £450, it replaced a dying RX580 and while I didn't want to spend even as much as I did I'm happy enough with my purchase.
Was able to pick up a Gigabyte gaming OC last week. It's the v3 with reduced power limit, but it draws just as much as the v1 according to Techpowerup's review. They peaked at 256w with oc and so does mine. This is the best result I managed in 3dmark. I saw some performance degradation with higher memory clock so it's slightly lower clocked than most. With this temperature I imagine it can go further but I'm limited by pwr in gpu-z. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/27026679
Hi. How do your 3060Ti's perform with RTX ON? Especially in games that have bigger maps like Cyberpunk or Watchdogs Legion, etc?
It is actually really good imho And with games that have DLSS can see up to 50% increase in fps with no difference in quality
I think Dying Light 2 probably have most intensive rt and @cucaulay malkin said he can hold 60fps at 1440p with dlss. That is pretty good.
