I think the initial area was the most demanding one. the one with autumn trees. it dropped below 60 at times, quite frequently.hardly ever under 55fps though. I'm very happy with min fps at 55fps it still plays smooth on a controller. Spoiler
I see. Thanks for the replies. I am asking cause i have some stuttering's almost in every such game. The games start smoothly on maxed out graphics with RTX ON and DLSS Quality, but after sometime and especially in more intensive areas with a lot of different objects, frames drops very noticeably and game start to stutter. If i reload the same spot where it was stuttering, game runs smoothly again. Why is this happening? I mean i understand that ray tracing effects are power hungry, but the problem is with the system or something else? My rig is: CPU: AMD 5600X (using precision boost overdrive) MOBO: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS GPU: Gigabyte 3060Ti Eagle overclocked SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB RAM: 32GB 3600Mhz CL18 PSU: Deepcool 750W Gold Monitor: Asus TUF GAMING VG27AQ1A 1440p All drivers updated.
believe me this controller feels better than 90% of kb+m sets ever will https://eswapx.thrustmaster.com/ the thumbsticks on this thing feel like heaven.unless it's a shooter I much prefer it to kb+m
I did something like a 30min run in the first windmill area, got 75fps average.Min fps was at 54 before nvidia drivers decided to turn my monitor off and on for no reason and min fps stayed at 1 after that.
I cannot really compare as i have mods but at 3440x1440 i get 50-60fps on 2080s. I would imagine 3060ti would perform similar. 8gb vram is a limiting the card as its always maxed out and sometimes have a stutter i think becouse of it.
well turn on dlss quality and disable one of the rt options,so that vram usage goes down and fps is similar. I don't have any even with vram at nearly 8000mb,it might be cpu related.
Dying Light 2 has a constant stutter even on cards with higher VRAM. But hey if in doubt blame it on VRAM right?!
It is just atrocious that 8gb card is not enough, it should be the norm then from now on that all graphic cards should have 12gb vram , i really don t see why some games use that much vram
Hello there, I have KFA2 3060ti, can you guys tell me if this temperature of hotspot are ok, or maybe must I repleac the thermal pads? https://i.**********/9MSGQ111/hotspot-3060ti.jpg thanks
