Around 60-70fps, with drops into 50's with action going on. Laptop has 144hz screen so i wanted at least 100fps+ and i don't really notice the RTX features in shooters anyway. I think the desktop variant will have the same performance, i had a 1660 Ti desktop card before this. And it seems to perform about the same as that card, at least in Red Dead Redemption 2. Maybe a bit better even, i don't notice drops below 60fps on High that i had with 1660 Ti. So it's a impressive card nontheless.
Well it should be something around 1660 series. So, it will be at 590's ballpark. Nothing great for a 2021 gpu.
Not so sure about that: https://www.notebookcheck.net/GeFor...X-3050-Ti-Laptop-GPU_9581_10667.247598.0.html
Obviously varies on a per game basis, but if you go through the games on the link you provided, most games are 30% faster on the 2060 at 1080p ultra, like cyberpunk : ultra 1920x1080 GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile: 38.8 43.6 fps ~ 41 fps GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU: 31 fps fps Much of it is ofc down to vram, and memory bandwidth, or rather lack there of on the 3050 ti. Death stranding is even worse : ultra 1920x1080 GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile: 88.7 91 94.7 ~ 91 fps GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU: 57.6 fps fps Same picture with COD cold war : ultra 1920x1080 GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile: 57.1 63.1 fps ~ 60 fps GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU: 43.7 fps fps
That's true, but probably because they use the ultra preset which sets textures to ultra. But lowering would probably up the performance equal to the 2060 would it not? Sucks there aren't much benchmarks out, to also see raytracing performance Vs RTX 20 cards.
Not when it's due to lack of memory bandwidth - as in the gpu simply cant stream fast enough. But i dont get why you even asked us, if you intend to keep the 3050 ti regardless. The 2060 mobile is clearly the better choice.
