RTSS Overlay Editor Megathread

    Because I want full control over the spacing of the units, so I have the data and the units in separate layers.

    why my data sources not have all data, for example GPU usage, GPU power draw etc... ?

    i started some test with layout editor and i watched out the example included(sample.ovl)

    - How is related the "on screen display zoom" from RTSS and layout editor ?
    When i reduce the "on screen display zoom" the layout created look bad, so how to control the resolution of the layout ?

    - Why the cpu usage is setted like this "<AI=CPU usage,0,0,0,110,0,128,128,128,11,4,0.5>" and gpu usage "<AI=GPU1 usage,0,0,0,110,0,128,128,128,11,4,0.5>" and not 0,100 ?

    - When you reduce On-Screen Display zoom you reduce font size TWICE with each zooming step. Use base raster font size adjustment for more preceise scaling.
    - Try to count animated frames in indicator sprites, see that there 11 of them and each animation frame represents 10% step. Then do some math and you'll get the answer.

    thanks for the info :)

    When i loading a game my custom layout working but for some reason has random left - right movement of some pixels...o_O

    edit:
    I fixed the issue myself, the problem was related from a blank space inside the layer with red square in the pic below.

    hi, i have a problem with my layout.

    As you can see in the first screen, is no aligned with the screen. i used a workround with a transparent layer but i dont know is a corret way to do.

    Try 7.3.2 beta 2. 7.3.2 contains the following fix listed in the release notes:

    - Fixed covering extent calculation for layers with embedded objects resized to layer extent

    You cannot independently center multiple lines of the same layer.

    I'm having an issue where I can't add more layers, at least not functional ones. I have about 73 layers and if I try to add more they're just invisible and the last layer starts glitching out with random characters/numbers in it. Here's what my current setup looks like when it's working as intended.

    And here's what happens when I add another layer, the last layer starts messing up.

    Both hypertext buffer and embedded object buffer are not endless, their physical limits are displayed in status bar of overlay editor window, as well as current hypertext/object buffer usages. You are going beyond it.

    Also, is that an actual limitation or can that limit be increased in future versions?
