Quoting a guy from steam FFXV forums, would like to hear Unwinder's opinion on that claim:

"I mentioned this earlier, Pagefile in MSI Afterburner is not the most useful thing in the world.

This is a measure of the virtual address space. If anything were ever to be written to the reserve memory it would have to be backed up using your pagefile, this much is true. But this memory starts life reserved but not backed.

That is why Deus Ex: Mankind Divided can start up and MSI Afteburner immediately tells you that you have a 512 GiB pagefile :)"

Nothing is a "most useful thing" if you don't know how to interpret it. Ask google about "Commit charge", that's alternate name of metric which Microsoft themselves (and other tools including AB) are calling "Pagefile usage". That's intended for estimating and configuring the maximum PF size required for a system and conforming to your typical application/memory usage scenarios. Also that serves to diagnose memory leaks.
