Having RTSS enabled with the recently released Modern Warfare causes the game to crash when exiting - you get slowdowns and stuttering when exiting to desktop and then next time you launch the game, the launcher will say that the game did not exit properly and asks you if you want to start the game in safe mode. Setting the application detection level to "None" for the Modern Warfare executable fixes the issue, so I think RTSS is causing this.

    Some details:
    • GTX 2080 Ti, driver version 440.97
    • Game build 1.03.0.7209368 (latest as of October 26, 2019)
    • RTSS version 7.2.3
    • I have GSYNC enabled, in-game VSYNC disabled and framerate limit set to 141 in RTSS
    • Enabling/disabling showing OSD does not make a difference
EDIT: Removing a framerate limit in RTSS fixes the problem. So it is related to framerate limiting.

Cannot conform that, and remembering the previous “pleasant” discussion with you I stop replying to it, sorry.

The cause is mixed overlays, its not RTSS specifically so hopefully that'll stop any rants coming from disgruntled users.

Gamebar is a source of crashes if its out of date, windows store has a problem with keeping this updated, and gpu tweak ii was blamed for crashes during the beta, this game already aquires an overlay from GFE, and if you're oblivious to discord default settings, that as well

its just the nature of graphics injections.

Guys, I won't probably need it, as I can overclock my card using sliders, but anyone got an idea why Voltage table / OC Scanner option (icon) does not show in MSI Afterburner? (using 4.6.2 beta 4 version)
Seems it's only happening on GB RTX 2060 SUPER version 1.0 - found another guy with similar issue here > https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/d1pe1d/msi_afterburner_oc_scanner_not_showing_up/

OC scanner button is disabled if V/F curve tuning is not supported on that platform. That's a case of some unlocked BIOSes walking on the net.

Ok, thanks for the info mate :)
By the way, I'm not using any modified BIOS, just a stock one.

Then it is a question for your VGA vendor.

I think in this case it is specifically caused by framerate limiting though. I can have the injection enabled with the overlay and I have no issues, the crash during exit only happens when there is a framerate limit set. It's not a big deal though as it only happens when exiting the game.

Beta 5 will be launched as final 4.6.2 today. As a forum link in this thread only for a couple days, then on the main page here. Launching it on MSI website and making it visible to MSI update servers will traditionally take more time.
No changes inside comparing to beta 5 besides adding 1660 Super card to the database.

It is planned to launch RC (linked in the previous post) as official 4.6.2 on the main page today. And on MSI website as well.

I think the implication was that you should read at least the last page of posts before adding your own...

    framerate min
    framerate avg
    franerate 1% ow
    framerate 0.1% low

I click a checkmark next to it and click show in on screen display then apply and okay

restart msi afterburner no work to get those

    msi afterburner 4.6.2.15745
    rivastatistunner 7.2.3.20686

Is the CPU temp on msi afterburner read the same as Ryzen Master?
