Thnx for this info. Then I'll go for an other setting then
here the video according to the issue and also workaround in description
so what s ur objective review of this game?
Its very good.
Old-school shooter, nice graphics, funny quips.
Definitely going to try this one.
Finally some time to play it again. I'll up some more vids to my current playlist. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0FnXRedFgwE_fSeAEahozpaD6b5TiN6h&si=wO62piQo1-o3Gp-W
The game is great tbh, can't get enough of it.
But the technical aspect need a major improvement.
Does anyone have UE5 crashes when loading new areas after cutscenes? Sometimes it happens too many times at once.
I realize that the implementation of DLSS is flawed and might cause that.
Since the latest installation and also the latest patch, I didn't have any crashes. I've turned off DLSS/DLAA and turned on TSR and I've got a better image quality than native resolution and less image weirdness. I'll show you a comparison soon.
Then add mine at the bottom
I've tried some different settings cause of the framerate and or dlss/dlaa problems. The blinking and the extra visual frames.
For me it's working now without the blinking and an acceptable framerate.
5120x1440 Output resolution, dlss quality + frame gen. Gives me an average of 100 frames.
There used to be a demo up. But the developer pulled it once the Steam Next Fest event was over
Leaving another comment because I feel I underrated the gunplay in Robocop Rogue City initially. Once you get the Dash/Shield/Stun/Bullet time and a lot of the cooler guns later like the rocket launcher or the sniper bomb gun from the film come into the game I found it to be a ton of fun. The stun flash move I think maybe the range could've been a bit better on that as it is almost melee range seems like but all the abilities seem very useful and fun to pull off and especially once your gun is improved and you get the "more gore" upgrade for the machine pistol it's a great sight to behold shredding people into pieces.
They also introduce more enemy types later on. One thing I really like is in some of the areas there's a lot of destruction in the environment where you can either take pillars and walls and shred the material off of it or fully destroy certain objects and structures. You can also pick up objects and people just like in Crysis and I love that in FPS games.
It's been a pleasant surprise. My expectations were fairly low but it's turned out being one of my favorite games this year. I appreciate they released it for $50 and not $70. That said it does have some technical issues -- DLSS breaks in some scenes as has been discussed (it's pretty distracting) and it does have intermittent classic UE traversal hitches.
they say i break the law, I Am Da LaOWWW XD
Yeah, the destruction is great at some times. The most memorable part for me was the scene just before the elevator in the beginning of the game. People are shooting from behind the pillars and you can shoot to destroy the pillars. It reminded me at the (benchmark) scene of Max Payne back in the day wow.. Brings back memories
if only the gunplay is close to cod , there s absolutely no recoil it feels like a shooter game from 20 years ago....the game s details are very good, if only the gunplay is better
Playing a few hours into it. Definitely old school shoot em up.
The ak47 has big recoil no good. Stick with the Uzi sub-machine gun. I'm dropping the punks with instant headshots with that weapon and right mouse.
