Thank you, I shall add these the next time I play. I suppose it's impossible to fix reflections at certain angles, like the geometry sometimes looks simple in the reflection.
The game looks a bit too washed out, i prefer more lively colours. But it looks fun, and was very positive reviews.
Did the DLSS version update break some effects? I noticed in the city environment with the new patch that the ground puddles/reflections shimmer badly now and I don't recall that happening on the prior patch. Still get a bit of traversal hitching here and there But that's just UE aint it. Really enjoying this game so far. I like the "tiny" open world areas, it's pretty fun to go around and stumble upon different small crime stories. In hindsight I wish I dumped more of my skill points into Engineering and Psychology.
https://ibb.co/album/3586dw I've come this far. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0FnXRedFgwE_fSeAEahozpaD6b5TiN6h&si=RnbICePhyX7pKewR I've stopped looking at the visual bugs or artifacts cause it almost started to annoy me that much. While in cutscenes it's even worse. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have more time to complete the rest of the game. I really do enjoy it thus far.
Yea I noticed that too. I'm sure it's something they'll patch soon. The devs seem to be doing a great job supporting the game.
I’m glad many are reporting a more stable experience. I’ll give this another go once I complete my current games. 2023 may go down as one of the best gaming years in history.
yea the dlss default preset is F, this game has bad implementation on that preset. you can try change the preset to C or D using dlss tweaks or special K, without the tool use this cvar [SystemSettings] r.NGX.DLSS.Preset=3 then you can improve reducing noise by using this cvars in engine.ini [SystemSettings] r.Lumen.Reflections.ScreenSpaceReconstruction=0 r.Lumen.Reflections.Temporal=0 r.Lumen.Reflections.BilateralFilter.SpatialKernelRadius=0.00800 *Update : workaround to force dlss preset in-engine and adds cvar reduces lumen reflection noise even more
And what to do about these weird face anomalies? I only see them when using DLAA, every other setting of DLSS Quality etc. it's not there. And sometimes when I turn off Frame Generation it helps out a bit.
Yeah, 40 and also later 41 42. I've tried to share it with the exact timestamp but it's sharing the full YouTube without timestamp. Even when I set it to url.
Hey all just wanted to say I like the game so far! Does anyone know what's going on here? I don't get this in other games only happens when I'm outside and the street puddles look like this. Running this on a RTX 2070.
bad implemetation lumen reflection temporal and dlss preset F, you can try this method https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/robocop-rogue-city.443726/page-10#post-6184923
Might be DLSS bloom bug, happens in dozens of games and basically all UE4/5 titles. In Fortnite, it apparently was fixed in the bloom shader itself when the game was updated to engine 5.3, but older maps that seem to still use the old bloom shader still exhibit it.
Yeah, I noticed it looked Shimmery on the roads for most Upscale Techs. I used TSR and it ended up looking the best for me on an AMD gpu.
